Comics Publishes First Comic Strip About Antarah

Comics, in imprint of the Sharjah-based Kalimat Group, recently published a comic strip about Antarah Ibn Shaddad, one of the greatest pre-Islamic Arab poets, to highlight the biography of one of the most popular Arab figures of all times.

Antarah lived in the 6th century and was a knight and poet, famous for his courage and heroism in battle as well as for his poetry. Comics tries us an innovative style to attract children and young adults from across the Arab World to their culture. The creative comic strip is written by Mumen Hilmi and illustrated by Indian illustrator Sharaf Ghuri.
