About Publisher

Dar Al-Fajr for Publishing and Distribution was founded by Mr. Abdel Hay Ahmed Fouad in 1993. The publishing house specializes in scientific and cultural books of interest to universities and research centers across Egypt and the Arab world. It has supplied university libraries throughout Egypt and the region and participated in international book fairs in Egypt, various Arab countries, as well as the Frankfurt International Book Fair in Germany.

Dar Al-Fajr’s primary goal is to widely promote the Arabic book, whether through original works or translations, across all fields of culture and knowledge. It aims to provide readers with the books, dictionaries, and encyclopedias they seek in the sciences, literature, and arts, while maintaining high standards of design, printing, and production quality.

The house’s catalog covers a wide range of subjects, including management, education and psychology, journalism and media, library and information science, environmental studies, engineering, chemistry, physics, geology, mathematics, health and medical sciences, and law.

In distribution, Dar Al-Fajr has had the honor of distributing publications from King Saud University, the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh, King Fahd National Library, and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.
