Sharjah, UAE: Under the care of H.H Sheikha Jawaher Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the founder of The Big Heart Foundation and the wife of H.H Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, ruler of Sharjah and member of the Federal Supreme Council, the children’s books library in the Arab world has received a new children’s story in Arabic, ???? ?????????? and English My Mama’s Magic, and in partnership with Austin Macauley Publisher, a British publisher with an office in Sharjah, UAE.

All royalties from the book, in both its Arabic and English versions, will be donated by Austin Macauley to THBF for charitable causes. Austin Macauley is a publishing house that promotes humanitarian causes; therefore, it places a high value on doing its civic duty by supporting THBF in its philanthropist efforts.

My Mama’s Magic is a story filled with hope and enlightens a new generation to find the courage to overcome life’s obstacles and difficult conditions.   It shines a light on how to achieve anything your heart desires, no matter how tough the situation appears

This is the story of “Asma Rashed”, a young Syrian woman living with her husband and children in the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.

Asma’s struggles are no different from any other Syrian refugee who suffered from war and displacement, but she never gave up facing these harsh situations and she was determined to make a positive change in the camp.

Asma joined the We Love Reading training sessions held in the Zaatari camp in 2014, and it changed her life.  She started to organise her own ‘reading aloud’ sessions for the children in the camp.  She built an initiative to teach the young girls reading and self-development, until she became an inspiration for everyone in camp, encouraging them to pursue continuous development.

My Mama’s Magic is written by authors Maya Abu Alhayat and Amina Awad, and illustrated by Eshraq Othman. It is classified as suitable for all ages and under the age classification of E, according to the age classification system issued by the Ministry of Culture and Youth.

It is also worth mentioning that, in accordance with The Big Heart Foundation’s website, the foundation was established in 2013 as a humanitarian initiative to collect donations for the Syrian children’s refugees.  In 2015, it turned into an independent international humanitarian organization, supporting more than 4 million people in over 25 countries to this day. This was possible through a number of projects and services provided in healthcare, education, emergency response and other significant sectors.

My Mama’s Magic is published by Austin Macauley Publishers and is available at Austinmacauley.ae and Amazon.

The royalties will be fully donated to TBHF as an appreciation for their humanitarian efforts.
