1st to 30th of April 2018, Casablanca, the economic capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, hosted the National Used Books Fair, the largest book fair in the Arab world for pre-loved books, with 120 exhibitors offering between 600,000 and 800,000 titles in a variety of disciplines and languages.
The book fair, which is supported by the Ministry of Culture, witnessed participation of 70 libraries and book outlets from Casablanca alone, as well as 50 representing other Moroccan cities, accompanied by a rich cultural programme featuring participation of more than 500 writers, poets, publishers, and novelists, from Morocco and beyond.
