The 2023 Amman International Book Fair has kicked off in the heart of Jordan’s capital city, boasting the active participation of approximately 400 esteemed international publishing houses. This remarkable 10-day event is a collaborative effort orchestrated by the Jordanian Publishers Association, the Ministry of Culture, and the Greater Amman Municipality. It offers a rich tapestry of cultural engagements, including enlightening symposiums and thought-provoking seminars.

Haifa Najjar, the Jordanian Minister of Culture, aptly described the fair as a vital platform for fostering dialogue and the exchange of ideas. She emphasized its role in providing an array of cultural activities tailored to cater to diverse audiences, ranging from Jordanian families, students at various educational levels, cultural institutions, and visiting enthusiasts.

Adding a special touch to this literary celebration, Qatar has been honored as the guest of distinction for the current exhibition. A distinguished Qatari delegation graced the event, comprising renowned writers, novelists, and researchers, adding a layer of depth and international flair to this already illustrious gathering.
