Sharjah Book Authority Launches Training for Arabic Publishers

by | Sep 10, 2024 | News

The Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) announces the registration opening for its upcoming training course specifically designed to empower and advance Arabic publishers. The course is scheduled to take place on November 2, 2024, at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This intensive training program aims to provide participants with cutting-edge insights and strategies to navigate the evolving publishing landscape in the Arab world. The curriculum will cover essential topics such as digital publishing, intellectual property rights, distribution channels, and marketing strategies tailored to the unique challenges faced by Arabic publishers. Leading industry experts and renowned publishers will deliver the sessions, ensuring that attendees gain practical knowledge and actionable skills.

The course is an exclusive opportunity, limited to the first 50 applicants. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring that only the most motivated and dedicated professionals have access to this valuable training. To promote inclusivity and allow new participants to benefit from the program, individuals who attended last year’s course will not be eligible to apply this year.

The SBA continues to be at the forefront of promoting Arabic literature and supporting publishers through a variety of initiatives, including the Sharjah International Book Fair, the Sharjah Publishing City, and various grants and awards.
