Robin Sharma: Leadership Excellence Unveiled at IGCF

by | Sep 6, 2023 | News

Global leadership expert and bestselling author, Robin Sharma, is set to deliver an inspiring talk titled ‘Unlocking Leadership Excellence’ during the 12th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) on September 14, hosted at the Expo Centre Sharjah. This year’s forum, themed ‘Today’s Resources… Tomorrow’s Wealth’ will provide a platform for Sharma to share invaluable insights on cultivating a leadership character.

Robin Sharma serves as the CEO of ‘Sharma Leadership International’ and is globally acclaimed as a leading authority on leadership and personal mastery. With a literary portfolio boasting bestsellers like ‘The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari’ and ‘The 5 AM Club,’ Sharma has sold over 20 million copies of his books across 96 countries. Beyond his literary success, he advises prominent figures in the business world and extends his philanthropic endeavors through the Robin Sharma Foundation for Children (RSFC), championing the cause of underprivileged children.

On the second day of IGCF, organized by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), Sharma will leverage his extensive experience counseling senior executives and CEOs to provide practical guidance on unleashing leadership potential within organizations. He will shed light on the essence of leadership character, its defining traits, and how it interacts with the surrounding environment.

Sharma’s address will also debunk common misconceptions about leadership culture, challenging the conventional link between job titles and social status. He asserts that true leadership is rooted in mindset and a visionary outlook on the future, transcending the confines of mere positional authority.
