The initiative underscores SAA’s commitment to supporting specialized scientific research and reinforcing Sharjah’s position as a leading knowledge hub in archaeology and cultural heritage.
The journal is supported by a distinguished advisory board comprising prominent international scholars and experts in archaeology and heritage. The advisory board provides strategic and scientific guidance to the editorial team, shaping editorial policies, strengthening academic quality standards, and ensuring adherence to international publishing ethics. It also supports the journal’s regional and global outreach and proposes research themes aligned with developments in archaeological and heritage studies.
Commenting on the announcement, His Excellency Eisa Yousif, Director General of SAA, emphasized that opening submissions reflects the Authority’s dedication to offering a reliable scientific platform that advances archaeological research internationally. He noted that the journal embodies Sharjah’s vision of supporting knowledge and preserving cultural heritage, while attracting researchers worldwide and fostering scientific dialogue.
