Leanne Gill Takes Charge at “Ladybird”

A new Publishing Director has been appointed by Ladybird

Ladybird has appointed Leanne Gill as its new publishing director, responsible for its trade publishing division and Ladybird licensing. In her current role as licensing publisher at Ladybird, Leanne will report directly to Francesca Dow, managing director, Penguin Random House Children’s. 

“Leanne has led Ladybird’s market-leading preschool licensing list for a number of years,” says Dow. She has excellent management skills, strong commercial instincts, and a deep understanding of the needs of our different markets”.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be the new publishing director for Ladybird,” says Leanne Gill. “I’m looking forward to partnering with the Ladybird team to make sure that across our iconic list, we are truly creating a book for every child”.
