by | Apr 2, 2017 | News

Egyptian publishing house, Kayan Publishing, specialising in novels, short stories, science fiction, poetry, and non-fiction with an emphasis on Egyptian/Middle Eastern perspectives and cultural significance, has recently bought publishing and distribution rights of 22 works by renowned Egyptian author and doctor Ahmed Khalid Tawfik.

Considered by many to be one of the most influential writers of their time, Tawfik is the first contemporary Arab writer of horror and science fiction, as well as the first Arab writer to explore the medical thriller genre.

Under the agreement, Kayan Publishing will produce new editions of Tawfik’s existing titles, earlier published by Laila Publishing House – “Kayan Corp” including: Coffee with Uranium (2012), and the Rainbow series (2005) co-authored with Dr Tamer Ibrahim.
