Algeria’s Al Watan Al-Youm Launches Pocket Book Series

Algerian publishing house Al-Watan Al-Youm has announced the launch of a new series of pocket books as part of a project titled ‘Reading Millennium, Pocket Book, Knowledge for All’, which aims to issue 1,000 books to be distributed on topics such as science fiction, folklore, literature and science among other subjects.

The publishing house revealed that each of the books will have no more than 100 pages and will cost 200 Algerian dinars (USD 1.75) The titles will be available in major bookstores, newspaper shops and magazines kiosks in various Algerian cities, as well as schools, colleges and universities with the aim of bringing new pocketbooks to every citizen in Algeria.
