Ukraine Gears up to Launch a Project to Sell Books on Trains

The ‘Ukrainian Railways’ announced that it will start selling books at all of its trips starting with the end of this year. The move aims to encourage passengers to read, and further enhance their travel experience on trains that serve the republic’s population of 45 million people.

Ukrainian publishing houses commended and celebrated the initiative because it will contribute to a significant increase in sales. Other bookstores and book distribution companies started preparing large orders of books in many languages such as Russian, English, Polish, Hungarian and Romanian; the key languages of tourists who visit Ukraine.
