Marking “Emirati Women’s Day,” the “Sharjah Public Libraries” showcase captivating literary works, spotlighting Emirati women authors’ remarkable contributions. This tribute acknowledges their pivotal role in cultural exchange and intellectual enrichment. Their creative prowess takes centre stage.

Spanning six branches, “Sharjah Public Libraries” boasts a vibrant collection of literary gems by talented Emirati women. Visitors can explore various genres, including heritage, history, short stories, novels, poetry, encyclopedias, studies, and research.

An outstanding example is the “Encyclopedia of Emirati Women,” published in 2018, meticulously chronicling the journeys of 990 trailblazing figures. Across education, literature, medicine, arts, politics, economics, and social activism, these women epitomise Emirati female achievement.
