Souad Al-Sabah Publishing & Distribution House
Souad Al-Sabah Publishing & Distribution House was founded in 1985 in Beirut, with its first publication being the reprint of the Egyptian magazine Al-Risalah in forty volumes, published in Beirut the same year.
To revive Kuwait’s cultural role, the publishing house expanded its operations from Cairo, publishing 200 titles within two years. Since 1988, it has continued its activities from its headquarters in Kuwait, publishing dozens of new titles annually.
In an effort to support young Arab talents, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak and Souad Al-Sabah established the first Arab institution dedicated to encouraging creativity among Arab youth. Their awards include four prizes for scientific innovation, four for intellectual and literary creativity, and a special award for Palestinian creativity.
This institution continues its annual work, providing opportunities for emerging talents by publishing their works and granting financial awards to recognize and promote their contributions.
