Arwa Al Arabiya is a Saudi publishing house founded in Jeddah in 2012.

Arwa Al Arabia should be a Saudi publishing house with prestigious publications and cultural contributions, well-known among publishers and writers in the Arab world and the world as a whole.

Arwa Khomayyis
A Saudi woman residing in Jeddah
Production and marketing consultant at Arwa Al Arabiya Foundation.
She holds a doctorate in fashion history – and works as an assistant professor at the College of Design and Arts – King Abdulaziz University
She has several official participations in international book fairs: (Frankfurt – Poland – London – Prague – New York), book fairs and various Arab events, and she has taken a number of courses in the field of creative writing, publishing and design.
She loves languages, literature, writing diaries, and writing stories. She loves children’s colorful drawings, their clever questions, and little girls’ clothes. She loves reading, asking questions, and drinking coffee with her husband, Fahd.
She published her first book in 2003, and the books continued until they reached more than 30 books.
Achievements & Awards
- Won the Golden Book Award at the First Children’s Reading Festival in Sharjah for the story “Sadeel and My Doll’s Cart” in 1426 AH, February 2006.
- Arwa’s book (Take it, Eid) received the highest and first vote among 9 books from different countries around the world at the London Book Fair 2008.
- Her book “On the Swing, Secrets Are Scattered” received a certificate signed by His Excellency Dr. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi, may God have mercy on him, and the certificate was placed on the back cover of the book in 2009.
- Her book “Fatima the Dreamer” received printing and distribution support from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation/United Arab Emirates 2009.
- Her book “On the Swing Secrets Are Scattered” was translated into English by the Ministry of Higher Education in order to participate in the international book fairs under the supervision of the General Administration of International Cooperation 2011.
- The book “I am Rumi… I love my mother and I do not like pink dresses” was shortlisted in the “Etisalat Children’s Book Award” in the UAE 2013 in the category of Best Text, Best Illustration, Best Book, and Best Direction.
- The book “A Tea Party in Cinderella’s Palace” was shortlisted in the Etisalat Children’s Book Award in the UAE 2015 in the Young People’s Book category.
- She won first place in the Sharjah Children’s Book Award for the book “I am Rumi, I love chocolate, and my mother loves beetles” at the eighth Sharjah Reading Festival of the year.
