In 1972, the journey of That Al Salasil began in Kuwait, founded by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mansour and his brother, Mr. Abdullah Al-Mansour. The company has successfully operated in Kuwait, the GCC countries, and the Middle East. Initially focusing on publishing and distributing books in the Middle East and worldwide, the business later expanded into other sectors, including tobacco products, fashion, accessories, and retail.

The company has received numerous Arab awards across various sectors such as education and healthcare. Notably, it won the “Best Arab Publisher Award” at the Sharjah International Book Fair for two consecutive years, an honor tied to the fair’s early beginnings 40 years ago.
