Dar Al-Farasha for Printing, Publishing, and Distribution was founded in 1992, beginning its journey by joining the global Harlequin family and translating romantic novels under the title “Rwayat Ahlam” (Dream Novels).
Later, the company expanded by translating and publishing some of the most renowned books from Marabout in Lebanon and across the Arab world. Over time, Dar Al-Farasha secured publishing and distribution rights in Arabic for a distinguished selection of international publishing houses, including:
Piatkus, Penguin Putnam, Robert Laffont, Virgin Books, Harper Collins, Hachette Livres, Flammarion, Vermilion, Vigot, Albin Michel, Ramsay, St. Martin’s Press, Michel Lafon.
Additionally, Dar Al-Farasha launched the digital magazine Salamatalk, dedicated to topics on health, nutrition, and natural remedies. (Note: The magazine is currently discontinued.)
More recently, the company has ventured into children’s literature, introducing series such as:
