Dar El-Helm Publishing and Distribution House was established at the end of July 2012 with a clear objective to enrich the Arab library and make Arabic content available globally, providing diversity for the Arab reader to draw from various branches of knowledge in different fields, and bridging the gap between local and Arab prices for the local reader.

Since its inception, Dar El-Helm Publishing has participated in numerous local and Arab exhibitions and forums, making a significant contribution to enriching the Arab library with valuable and precious books and publications.

Throughout its journey, Dar El-Helm Publishing faced numerous challenges, difficulties, and political and economic fluctuations that made the confrontation real and the challenge difficult, which it faced with resilience and determination.

Dar El-Helm Publishing and Distribution is an active member of the Egyptian Publishers Association – and is also a member of the Export Development Authority, which is affiliated with the Egyptian Cabinet.

Dar El-Helm Publishing successfully established a second company – Dar El-Helm for Libraries, Trade, and Distribution – at the end of May 2020, and Dar El-Helm for Digital Content at the end of July 2020. These are natural extensions and an integral part of the entity of Dar El-Helm Publishing. The objectives of these companies included:

• Investing in digital content and providing integrated solutions and services for literary, scientific, and educational digital books.
• Establishing a printing press to improve printing quality and meet market requirements for book and magazine printing.
• Trading in writing, printing, and stationery supplies.
• Opening several distribution outlets to serve as outlets for various Dar El-Helm products.

Thus, Dar El-Helm has laid the foundational brick for a group of companies to provide knowledge, cultural, and scientific solutions, which are intended to integrate and harmonize to achieve leadership.
