About Publisher

New Book Publishing and Distribution began its operations in 2014 in Cairo, Egypt, under the leadership of Mr. Nasser Hussein, with the aim of promoting a balanced, enlightened culture free from excess and deficiency. To achieve this goal, a professional publishing committee was formed, chaired by the distinguished thinker and Professor of General Surgery, Dr. Amr Sherif.

With God’s grace, New Book has published the intellectual works of many prominent Egyptian thinkers, including Dr. Mohamed Emara, Dr. Hassan Hanafi, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Pasha, Dr. Emam Abdel Fattah Emam, Dr. Yumna Al-Khouli, Dr. Mostafa Al-Nashar, Dr. Amr Sherif, Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht (President of Cairo University), Dr. Ahmed Salem, Dr. Haitham Talaat, Dr. Hamada Ali, Dr. Saeed Obeid, Dr. Khaled Kotb, Dr. Abdel Baset Heikal, Dr. Fathy Amer, Dr. Mohamed Mamdouh, Dr. El-Sayed Abdel Rahman, Dr. Mohamed Ghaleb, Dr. Magda Helmy, Ms. Sohair Helmy (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram), Mr. Salama Al-Omrani, and many other distinguished scholars.

New Book has also actively encouraged young writers from Egypt and other Arab countries, publishing their intellectual contributions to create a blend between the senior and younger generations of scholars.

Due to its meticulous selection of topics and dedication to high-quality production, New Book Publishing and Distribution was honored with the Best Publisher in Egypt award at the 2017 Cairo International Book Fair, jointly presented by the Egyptian Publishers Association and the General Egyptian Book Organization.
