On International Women’s Day 2026, PublisHer announces a strategic partnership with the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organizations (IFRRO) to strengthen knowledge, rights awareness and professional development opportunities for women in publishing worldwide.

Bodour Al Qasimi, Founder of PublisHer, said: ‘Empowering women in publishing means providing them with platforms and networks, but also with knowledge and influence. Understanding rights is fundamental to their economic independence and creative sustainability in this business. Our partnership with IFRRO, aptly formalized on International Women’s Day, is our renewed commitment to ensuring women publishers around the world have access to the expertise, mentorship and practical tools they need to flourish in the rights-based global marketplace.’

The collaboration enshrines the two organizations’ commitment to advancing equity in the global publishing ecosystem and ensuring female leaders, entrepreneurs and career professionals are equipped for the complex, evolving publishing rights landscape.

Anita Huss-Ekerhult, CEO and Secretary General of IFRRO said: ‘At IFRRO, we are proud to embark on this collaboration with PublisHer, an initiative that champions women’s rights, leadership, and visibility across the global publishing landscape. By joining forces, we strengthen IFRRO’s shared commitment to fairness, creativity, and opportunity. Together, we can help ensure that women in publishing have the support, recognition, and space they need to thrive.’

The partnership affords PublisHer members access to IFRRO’s expertise in reproduction rights, collective management and copyright frameworks. The agreement includes a series of in-kind services and high-level engagements to build practical skills and strategic acumen.

Key benefits for PublisHer members include:

  •       Up to four in-person expert sessions at PublisHer Lounges and other events, offering members time with rights specialists.
  •        A structured mentorship programme for PublisHer Premium Tier members, including monthly one-hour mentorship opportunities over the course of a year, delivered by IFRRO experts.
  •       Access to curated online educational resources on reproduction rights and collective licensing via the PublisHer website.
  •       Enhanced visibility and advocacy, with IFRRO and PublisHer reciprocally promoting each other’s initiatives across digital platforms and sector events.

In addition, IFRRO leadership will enjoy VIP access to select PublisHer events, fostering closer collaboration and sustained exchange between rights organizations and female publishing leaders.

By combining PublisHer’s global network of women publishing professionals with IFRRO’s international authority on reprographic and reproduction rights, the partnership will bridge knowledge gaps, strengthen business sustainability and empower women to lead confidently in rights-driven markets.
