Meredith Corp Expands Book Reach with IPG Partnership

by | Dec 23, 2019 | News

Meredith Corporation plans to expand the reach of titles from its book publishing division, TI Inc. Books, through an exclusive partnership with Independent Publishers Group (IPG).

Under the agreement, IPG will provide representation and distribution services for TI Inc. Books, formerly known as Time Inc. Books, and its entire backlist catalog.

TI Inc. Books is home to bestselling authors such as Valerie Bertinelli, Martina McBride and Matt More. Published titles cover an array of genres: lifestyle, cooking, biography, history and entertainment.

The imprint was founded in 1998 and features book spinoffs from brands like People, Better Homes & Gardens, Southern Living and Real Simple. They include recent bestsellers “What Can I Bring? Southern Food for Any Occasion Life Serves Up” by Elizabeth Heiskell, “The Vegan 8: 100 Simple, Delicious Recipes Made With 8 Ingredients or Less” by Brandi Doming, “Minimalist Kitchen” by Melissa Coleman and “People Celebrity Puzzler Superstars: Word Searches, Crosswords, Second Looks, and More” by the editors of People.

“These gorgeous books by household names continue to be very popular throughout the U.S. and Canada. Because IPG concentrates on sales into special markets, as much as the book trade throughout North America, we are a unique and appropriate partner for TI Inc. Books and Meredith,” said Richard T. Williams, vice president of publisher development for IPG, stated.
