Literature-Inspired Dior Bags

by | Jan 8, 2026 | News

Dior’s whimsical new Book Tote bags from spring-summer 2026 will launch worldwide. First appearing at Jonathan Anderson’s debut runway show for #DiorMen, they mark a brand-new chapter for the storied French fashion house.

Blurring the lines between fashion, literature and art, Dior transforms the evocative covers of classic novels into embroidered bags. Indeed, these designs quite literally put the ‘book’ in the quintessential Book Tote. Furthermore, the selection of titles feels as deliberate as it is fascinating.

Designed as poetic tributes to literature, which makes up the very essence of this signature bag that is originally intended to carry books, the new additions feature embroidered renditions of iconic covers of several classic novels that you know and love.

These include Bram Stroker’s Dracula, Ulysses by James Joyce, In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, and Les Fleurs du Mal by Charles Baudelaire — all of which celebrates the love cultivated by Christian Dior and Jonathan Anderson for the arts and literature, from Ireland to France and the United States.

The Dior Book Totes are available in three refined sizes, large, medium and mini.

Combining elegance and practicality, the large is crafted with a magnetic closure to safely tuck away your precious everyday essentials, while the medium and mini are accompanied by a detachable, adjustable nylon shoulder strap to allow for multiple holding options. As a finishing touch, you’ll find the Dior logo delicately embroidered on the front.

The Book Totes are now available at Dior boutiques as well as online
