Jeddah Book Fair Hosted 400 Publishers From 40 Countries

The 4th edition of the Jeddah International Book Fair kicked off with the participation of 400 publishing houses from 40 countries, under the theme “Tolerance and Peace”. The event finishes in January 5, 2019 on a total area of ​​25,000 square meters, the largest in the history of the Fair since it was last re-launched four years ago.

The publishing houses showcased more than 180,000 titles in various sciences, knowledge and literature, mostly in Arabic and English, as well as in many other languages ​​such as Urdu, Filipino, Chinese, French and German. The Fair also organizes 50 events and 60 workshops in fine arts, photography and Arabic calligraphy.

More than 200 authors are signing their latest releases on the signing stand, and visitors are allowed to watch 55 documentaries covering topics on the family and child and touching on educational behavior. The also, saw a large number of events for children to encourage them to acquire books and promote their readability.
