The British HarperCollins and the American Day Street Books are set to release a new book on August 11, 2020 featuring the Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan. The book titled “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.”, is co-written by Omid Scobie, editor of Harper’s BAZAAR, and ELLE’s royal reporter Carolyn Durand and Caroline Dorand.

According to HarperCollins, the authors reviewed many documents and private photos, and sought the help of several close associates of the young prince and his wife to capture the many false rumors and misconceptions surrounding the couple. The book’s release comes a few weeks after Harry and Meghan announced they would no longer work with the British tabloids because of what they call false, malicious, mutilated stories”.

Harry, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, and the 6th in line to the British throne, has married American actress Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle in May 2018; and in last January, the couple said they intend to step back from their working royal family roles and seek financial independence after moving to North America. The formal separation from the royal family took place in March 2020 and the couple has since moved to reside in Los Angeles.
