Son univers romanesque ne reproduit pas les codes du ma\u00eetre colombien mais les transforme : au merveilleux venu du mythe, elle substitue une magie n\u00e9e de la m\u00e9moire bless\u00e9e, du silence des familles, et de l\u2019histoire intime contournant les r\u00e9cits officiels. \u00c0 travers une voix f\u00e9minine ancr\u00e9e dans le Chili post-dictature, elle fait du r\u00e9alisme magique un langage profond\u00e9ment personnel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans des romans tels que Portrait s\u00e9pia ou Fille du destin, le surnaturel n\u2019\u00e9chappe pas au r\u00e9el, il en devient le miroir discret. La magie n\u2019interrompt pas l\u2019histoire, elle en \u00e9pouse les contours flous, servant de relais aux traumatismes collectifs et aux h\u00e9ritages affectifs. Cette approche sensible a conquis un lectorat bien au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine. Mais \u00e0 mesure que les courants litt\u00e9raires \u00e9voluent, r\u00e9alisme brut, autofiction, dystopies, la veine du r\u00e9alisme magique s\u2019est \u00e9loign\u00e9e du centre, rel\u00e9gu\u00e9e aux marges du paysage \u00e9ditorial contemporain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isabel Allende n\u2019a jamais fig\u00e9 son \u00e9criture dans ce registre : dans ses \u0153uvres r\u00e9centes, elle s\u2019oriente vers la chronique historique et l\u2019introspection.
