Organis\u00e9 par l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 du Livre de Sharjah (Sharjah Book Authority) en partenariat avec l\u2019Association am\u00e9ricaine des biblioth\u00e8ques (ALA), l\u2019Association am\u00e9ricaine des biblioth\u00e9caires scolaires (AASL), l\u2019Association des biblioth\u00e8ques et de l\u2019information des \u00c9mirats (ELIA) et le Salon collectif du livre (Combined Book Exhibit), l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement a mis\u00e9 sur les derni\u00e8res tendances mondiales dans le d\u00e9veloppement des biblioth\u00e8ques scolaires, soulignant leur r\u00f4le central dans le parcours \u00e9ducatif. Au c\u0153ur des \u00e9changes : les technologies \u00e9mergentes et les outils num\u00e9riques au service de la lecture et de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la connaissance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parmi les temps forts, l\u2019intervention de Todd Burleson, sp\u00e9cialiste des m\u00e9dias \u00e0 la Skokie School (\u00c9tats-Unis), a port\u00e9 sur la synergie entre lecture et nouvelles technologies. Il a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 des outils novateurs comme les livres audio, les applications de synth\u00e8se vocale int\u00e9grant l\u2019intelligence artificielle, ou encore la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle pour motiver les \u00e9l\u00e8ves peu enclins \u00e0 lire. Burleson a insist\u00e9 sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de proposer une offre pluriformat (papier, num\u00e9rique, audio) pour mieux correspondre aux attentes des jeunes lecteurs.
