Cr\u00e9\u00e9 en hommage \u00e0 Jon Fosse, laur\u00e9at du Prix Nobel de Litt\u00e9rature 2023, ce prix annuel distingue les traducteurs qui contribuent \u00e0 faire rayonner la litt\u00e9rature norv\u00e9gienne \u00e0 l&rsquo;international. Chaque laur\u00e9at recevra 500,000 NOK (environ 36,000 \u00a3).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Financ\u00e9 par le gouvernement norv\u00e9gien et g\u00e9r\u00e9 par la Biblioth\u00e8que Nationale d\u2019Oslo, le prix est d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux traductions issues des deux normes \u00e9crites officielles de la Norv\u00e8ge: Bokm\u00e5l (langue des livres) et Nynorsk (nouveau norv\u00e9gien). Il sera compl\u00e9t\u00e9 par une s\u00e9rie de conf\u00e9rences annuelles, les Fosse Lectures, dont la premi\u00e8re se tiendra au Palais Royal d\u2019Oslo en avril prochain. Jean-Luc Marion, philosophe fran\u00e7ais et membre de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie Fran\u00e7aise, donnera la conf\u00e9rence inaugurale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette initiative illustre l\u2019influence croissante de la Norv\u00e8ge dans la litt\u00e9rature mondiale, malgr\u00e9 une population modeste de 5,5 millions d\u2019habitants. Avec des auteurs tels que Karl Ove Knausg\u00e5rd et Vigdis Hjorth, le pays s\u2019impose sur la sc\u00e8ne litt\u00e9raire.
