Son Altesse Cheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, membre du Conseil supr\u00eame et souverain de Sharjah, a publi\u00e9 un d\u00e9cret \u00e9mirien annon\u00e7ant la nomination d’un nouveau conseil d’administration (CA) pour l’Autorit\u00e9 du livre de Sharjah (ALS). La formation de ce conseil marque le d\u00e9but d’un nouveau chapitre passionnant pour l’organisation et constitue l’une des plusieurs changements administratifs et structurels visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer et \u00e0 \u00e9tendre la port\u00e9e de l’ALS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, les membres fondateurs du conseil proviennent d’horizons divers. Tous ont \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 apporter leurs propres perspectives uniques \u00e0 leur r\u00f4le en soutien \u00e0 la mission de l’ALS de transformer le monde gr\u00e2ce au pouvoir du mot \u00e9crit. Ils comprennent des personnalit\u00e9s \u00e9minentes des communaut\u00e9s locales d’affaires et d’\u00e9dition des \u00c9mirats arabes unis.<\/span><\/p>\n

En introduisant des proc\u00e9dures et des m\u00e9canismes de surveillance plus formalis\u00e9s, le conseil nouvellement form\u00e9 travaillera \u00e0 rendre l’ALS encore plus efficace et \u00e0 soutenir sa future expansion. Le conseil contribuera \u00e9galement \u00e0 faire passer l’organisation au niveau sup\u00e9rieur en travaillant de mani\u00e8re proactive \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l’efficacit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle et \u00e0 accro\u00eetre l’impact de ses programmes gr\u00e2ce au d\u00e9veloppement de partenariats strat\u00e9giques cibl\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les membres des EAU nomm\u00e9s au conseil sont Ahmed Al Ameri, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’Autorit\u00e9 du livre de Sharjah, Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, vice-pr\u00e9sident principal de la division Affaires internationales d’Emirates Airlines, Abdulaziz Taryam, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et conseiller d’Etisalat – Northern Emirates, Abdulla Al Owais, pr\u00e9sident du d\u00e9partement de la Culture, Rashid Al Kous, directeur ex\u00e9cutif de l’Association des \u00e9diteurs des Emirats (EPA), Marwa Al Aqroubi, directrice ex\u00e9cutive de la Maison de la sagesse et pr\u00e9sidente du conseil des livres pour enfants des Emirats arabes unis (UAEBBY) et Dr Abdulaziz Al Musallam, pr\u00e9sident de l’Institut de Sharjah pour le patrimoine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des membres locaux nomm\u00e9s au conseil, un certain nombre de figures internationales \u00e9tablies de l’\u00e9dition rejoignent \u00e9galement le conseil. Avec une connaissance approfondie et des perspectives de l’industrie, ces membres nomm\u00e9s aideront \u00e0 construire sur les grands r\u00e9alisations de l’ALS, faisant passer l’organisation \u00e0 des niveaux encore plus grands de succ\u00e8s. Les membres internationaux du conseil sont John Ingram, pr\u00e9sident du groupe Ingram Content, Youngsuk ‘YS’ Chi, pr\u00e9sident d’Elsevier, Markus Dohle, vice-pr\u00e9sident ex\u00e9cutif du conseil d’administration de PEN America, et Gaurav Shrinagesh, PDG de l’Inde et de l’Asie du Sud-Est et membre du comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif mondial de Penguin Random House.<\/span><\/p>\n

En plus des r\u00f4les et des responsabilit\u00e9s individuelles, le conseil aura des responsabilit\u00e9s globales et collectives pour soutenir l’Autorit\u00e9 du livre de Sharjah dans l’am\u00e9lioration de sa cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 mondiale, le d\u00e9veloppement de ses actions de marketing et de partenariats, et la garantie de sa viabilit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
