About Levant Center
Levant Center is a division of Levant for Human Resources Development, registered under Law 159 of 1981 and its regulations. Business License No.: 03-11-520-00408-5-022, Commercial Registration No.: 9882. It is a member of the Egyptian Publishers Association, the Arab Publishers Association, and the Information Technology Chamber.
The company organizes various activities in culture, science, training, and translation and is authorized by its commercial registration and license to hold conferences, exhibitions, public events, educational and training courses, and issue attendance certificates. It also provides consultations, book publishing and distribution, translation services, and scientific publications.
The Levant Center offers a variety of cultural and educational courses, workshops, seminars, and lectures, investing in the development and enhancement of human resources. It is committed to training researchers in cultural studies and translation (from and into Arabic), applying principles of codicology, manuscript authentication, Arabic calligraphy, Arabic language and literature, and modern religious thought.
Additionally, the center organizes narrative writing and screenplay workshops and actively seeks out talented individuals in literature, criticism, storytelling, poetry, theater, cinema, and scriptwriting, publishing their works both in print and digital formats.
The Levant Center manages an online book market alongside its website, which showcases all its activities, announces new publications, and features news articles and critical reviews about its books. The website also provides downloadable books, articles, and videos via its social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Furthermore, Levant publishes articles and books in both print and digital formats through agreements with institutions and individual authors.
Since its inception in early 2018, Levant Center has published over 500 books in various fields, including criticism, creativity, thought, history, and children’s literature. It has also produced numerous translated books, with notable translators such as Ragab Saad El-Sayed, Yasser Wahb, and Souhail Abou Fakhr.

The center recently organized the Alexandria Autumn Book Fair (16-26, 2022) and managed its cultural events. Several publishers participated, including Al-Hiwar, Al-Qalam, Al-Mi’raj, Kiwan, and Wahy Al-Qalam (from Syria), as well as Al-Wasiya, Book Exchange, Al-Ridwan, and the Spiritual Service Authority (from Egypt). Books from publishers such as The Egyptian General Book Organization, The Egyptian-Lebanese House, Al-Shorouk, and Nahdet Misr were also showcased.
