Eight Egyptian Publishing Houses Unite

by | Dec 20, 2017 | News

In a bid to enhance expansion and reduce costs of their participation in book fairs, eight Egyptian publishing houses announced that they will merge into one, signalling the formation of one of the largest book publishers and distribution groups in the region, and the largest in the Arab world.

Publisher Khalid Aadili, Owner of the ‘Arab Intellectuals’ publishing house, unveiled that the new group will comprise his publishing houses, ‘United Publishers’, ‘Bibliomania’, ‘Logarithm’, ‘Shahd’, ‘Golden Book’, ‘Al Fouad’ and ‘Joe’ publishing houses.

The move will allow these publishing houses to unite their efforts and employees, as well as enhance production units, marketing and distribution. It will also enable them to take part at book fairs and exhibitions under one entity, which will reduce the costs and consequently reduce the price of books and enhance their accessibility to readers.
