The Egyptian Publishers Association has announced it is planning to organise a book fair by the end of November or early December at the Cairo International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Nasr City, Cairo.
The fair will feature Egyptian, Saudi, Emirati and Bahraini publishers in particular, as well as other international Arab publishers.
The event will see discounts of up to 70% on all books in a move to support publishers’ budgets in 2018.
The 32nd edition of the Beijing International Book Fair will take place from 17 to 21 June 2026, bringing together more than 1,700 exhibitors from 82 countries and regions.
