Bill Gates Presents 8 Million Books to 2018 Graduates Across America

Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates, is giving away two books each to more than four million students due for graduation this year from an American college. Students will also receive digital copies of the books.

He is also giving students a copy of Hans Rosling’s Factfulness: Ten Reasons We’re Wrong About The World – And Why Things Are Better Than You Think, published this April and some of the late writer’s other works. The Swedish doctor and professor of international health died of cancer last year and his book was completed by his son Ola Rosling and daughter-in-law Anna Rosling Rönnlund.

Gates appeared on Factfulness’s inside cover, calling it “one of the most important books I’ve ever read and an indispensable guide to thinking clearly about the world”. The book is already a top seller top seller in US and UK with 17 reprinted editions in the UK.
