The Fujairah Culture and Media Authority (FCMA) recently released a book titled Autobiography of a Ruler about His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah. The book, written by Emirati author Murad Abdullah Al Bloushi, is the first smart book in the UAE.

The new book features a quick response or QR Code that connects the printed and digital content online to help readers view video clips embedded into the book’s pages via smart devices. Fifty-five video clips are contained within the book’s 11 chapters.

The Fujairah ruler’s national and humanitarian achievements, including his accomplishments in the cultural, transportation and industrial domains are recounted. The book dedicates a chapter to maritime transport, where Fujairah’s prowess in supplying ships with fuel and achieving high competitiveness in maritime transport are discussed.
