In a new move aimed at motivating publishers to produce more UAE life-inspired literature, Abu Dhabi Media has launched the initiative ‘I See My Novel’, which aims to transform books by Emirati and expatriate authors into dramas that reflect the evolution of the UAE community and its positive values of generosity, tolerance and acceptance.

The criteria for entries, which must be submitted by September 15, states that the novels must not have been published more than five years from the date of submission. The novels should also include dynamic personalities that can be transformed into effective drama.

Entry is limited to Emirati and Arab publishing houses in the UAE. The chosen novels will be converted into dramas in collaboration with production companies working to the highest standards.
