1,700 Publishers Submit Participation Requests to Riyadh International Book Fair 2018

The management of Riyadh International Book Fair 2018 (RIBF) has revealed that more than 1,700 publishing houses from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and beyond, submitted their participation requests at the forthcoming edition of fair, which runs from 14-24 March 2018. The management indicated that they will announce the final number of the participating publishing houses as soon as the evaluation process is complete.

The management also announced that the optical electronic data, better known as the barcode system, is mandatory this year, and any publishing house that doesn’t register the barcode of each book will be disqualified. They pointed out that the barcode system will ensure that all publishing houses are in conformity with pricing and will help them know the overall value of sales.
